CRH Healthcare is a leading operator of urgent care clinics, with 92 locations across Georgia (Peachtree Immediate Care), Florida (Patients First), and Maryland (Patriot Urgent Care). We are headquartered in Atlanta, and the majority of our clinics are in Georgia. CRH Healthcare’s clinics are open seven days a week and provide walk-in care for injury, illness, and minor emergencies as well as family care to keep both parents and kids healthy. Our mission is to deliver the perfect patient experience every time. The typical clinic is 4,000 square feet in a standalone building or suite within a multi-tenant retail strip.
CRH Healthcare is looking for a Director of Facilities to lead and manage the facility maintenance function across our real estate portfolio of 90+ leased locations, and will include supervision of a 4-person team of maintenance technicians. This position reports to the SVP of Corporate Development, while working closely with operational leaders, external vendors, finance, and senior leadership.
This is a remote position for someone living in the Atlanta metro area that requires significant day-time travel to our clinic locations (minimal overnights). A company car will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently manage repairs, maintenance, and minor renovations for CRH Healthcare’s clinical facilities.
- Lead, recruit, train, and develop facility maintenance technicians to achieve departmental objectives effectively.
- Manage centralized ticketing system, prioritizing and delegating work orders to appropriate maintenance technicians, and coordinating with third party vendors to complete work when required.
- Manage budgets, including the approval of maintenance expenses and capital expenditure projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the need for repairs and renovations.
- Oversee the management of facility-related emergencies.
- Seek continuous improvement to the department’s processes and procedures.
- Liase with third party janitorial provider and assist with issue resolution when needed.
Key Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant facilities management experience (medical or retail experience preferred) in a dispersed, multi-site environment.
- Strong leadership skills with desire to manage and develop team effectively.
- Experience negotiating and working with external service providers, establishing contracts, payments, and scheduling.
- Knowledge of construction, architecture and various systems, and prior experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Ability to earn the confidence and trust of operational leaders and communicate effectively.
- Ability to analyze diverse situations and recommend appropriate course of action.
- Experience with budgeting and reporting.
- Must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in the field.
