CRH Healthcare, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is a patient-focused operator of urgent care centers in Alabama, Georgia, Maryland and Florida. CRH’s centers are open seven days a week and provide walk-in care for injury, illness and minor emergencies as well as occupational medicine for employers such as drug screens and physicals.
CRH is currently seeking a Worker’s Comp Accounts Receivable Specialist for the Billing Department located in Fayetteville, GA. This position will report to the Billing Lead and will be responsible for processing charges and billing claims for our clinics.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Charge Entry for Worker’s Compensation & Employer accounts




  • Abstracts clinical information from medical records and assigns the appropriate ICD and CPT codes using industry-standard coding guideline




  • Review charges and add necessary modifiers, units, injury dates, referring providers to ensure clean claim submission




  • Ensures all required employer forms and documentation are complete and legible




  • Maintain open, positive, cordial, responsive and team-oriented lines of communication with Physicians, Practice Administrator and other staff members.




  • Assist with training new staff members




  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:


  • High school degree or equivalent




  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10




  • High attention to detail, accuracy, sense of urgency and ability to work self-directed.




  • Knowledge of business office procedures




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including proficiency with Excel.




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills




  • 2-year minimum medical front office, billing or coding experience




  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time




  • Associate degree in business, healthcare or related field is preferred




  • Certified Coder a plus
