CRH Healthcare, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is a patient-focused operator of urgent care centers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Maryland. CRH’s centers are open seven days a week and provide walk-in care for injury, illness and minor emergencies as well as family care to keep both parents and kids healthy. CRH is currently seeking a Billing Lead for its Billing Department in Fayetteville, GA. This position will report to the Billing Office Manager and will be responsible for leading the billing team. This position also works closely with the Director of Billing Operations on technical billing and coding issues and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage billing team workload to ensure timely and accurate charge entry

  • Provide technical coding guidance to billing team

  • Review charges and add necessary modifiers, units, injury dates, referring providers to ensure clean claim submission

  • Review claim rejection reports and oversee staff to ensure necessary corrections are made

  • Communicate with front office and clinical staff regarding missing or incorrect information preventing a clean claim submission

  • Work closely with the Billing Operations Director on technical billing and coding issues

  • Participate in recruiting efforts and train new billing staff

  • Participate in Billing Office leadership meetings

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Certified Professional Coder with current license required

  • 3 years minimum medical billing experience in a multi-site physician group

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Effective communication and training skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time

  • Urgent care experience a plus
