Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing analyses and guidance across the entire CRH Healthcare portfolio of companies (with sophisticated private equity investors) in support of management’s efforts to further grow the business, generate revenue, and optimize profitability. We are looking for a high energy, self-starter, and ambitious person to serve an important role in our corporate office. Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop complex models capable of capturing key business drivers.
- Develop appropriate metrics for the business to measure growth, profitability, expense control, efficiency, and productivity.
- Deliver innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making.
- Support and lead operational initiatives across various companies.
- Play a pivotal role in the Budgeting and Planning processes.
- Support monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
- Spearhead the Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable estimation processes.
- Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, timeliness, and insightfulness.
- Ensure on-going communication and dialogue with key stakeholders across companies.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and various business projects using tools to improve processes and increase productivity.
- Improve data gathering and presentation processes, automating whenever possible.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance coupled with 2+ years of experience in investment banking, Big 4 accounting, or finance department of a large corporation. Preference for some experience in healthcare and/or investment banking. Graduates fresh out of college with applicable internship experience may also be considered.
- Broad understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Excel guru with an inquisitive and analytical mind.
- Skilled use of Reporting and Planning systems or tools.
- Experience with dashboarding, analytical, or programming tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or SQL, a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced organization.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Creative and resourceful problem solver.
