Troy Steckler

Chief Operating Officer

Troy joined CRH Healthcare as the Chief Operations Officer in 2020 after more than 17 years with MedExpress, where he served as the Senior Vice President of Operations responsible for 256 urgent care centers, 60 employer onsite clinics, and over 3,000 associates.

Late in 2002, along with friends who were emergency physicians, Troy embarked on building and opening an urgent care clinic in an effort to provide care for those patients who needed care but didn’t have an alternative outside of the emergency department. That one center and their vision led Troy to help build and grow the largest urgent care company in the country, MedExpress Urgent Care.

Before CRH Healthcare, Troy held various leadership positions throughout his long tenure with MedExpress but was always anchored in the centers’ operations, workflows, processes, and policies. He has also led site development, construction, and purchasing, getting a full view of what is needed to grow from a couple of centers to the country’s leader.

Troy attended Palm Beach State College and the University of South Florida and completed studies as a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency and trauma nursing. He has also completed training as an EMT-P (Paramedic). Troy’s nursing career included working in multiple emergency departments for several healthcare systems. These diverse experiences in many environments gave Troy the expertise and ability to assess operations and workflows and adjust quickly to improve efficiencies.
